In fact, if current digital games are the topic of many conferences, books and magazines, discussions on non-digital games seem less present, even though they constantly develop. Yet, for more than a century, researchers from multiple disciplines have occasionally contributed to the understanding of these more \u201cclassical\u201d games. In the field of Mathematics and Economy, for instance, this work brought forth the famous game theory (von Neumann &amp; Morgenstern, 1944, Nash, 1951). Mention can also be made of anthropological and sociological discussions led by Johan Huizinga and Roger Caillois, which are still references. Similarly, since the 80\u2019s, role playing games (Caira, 2007, Bowman, 2010), wargames (von Hilgers, 2008 Sabin, 2012) and board games (Sch\u00e4dler, 2007, Hinebaugh, 2009) gave rise to frequent publications.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, we cannot ignore the fact that work aimed at conceiving and studying digital games is also regularly referred to as reflections on (non-digital) \u201ctraditional\u201d games, whether to build their theoretical framework (Frasca, 2001; Salen&amp;Zimmerman, 2004), or to conduct comparative and contrastive studies (Tr\u00e9mel, 2001). According to us, this kind of mutual lighting encourages researchers to examine the peculiarities and complementarities of the two areas, as well as the theoretical interest of connecting or of confronting them. Therefore, in order to analyse the relations established between \u201ctraditional\u201d games and digital games, this call is divided into five themes that give a broad overview of the different kinds of possible links. All types of research, fundamental or applied, as well as disciplinary approaches are welcome. They can be part of one of the five themes listed below (non-exclusive). De fait, si les jeux num\u00e9riques suscitent \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent de nombreux colloques, ouvrages et num\u00e9ros de revues, les r\u00e9flexions sur les jeux non num\u00e9riques semblent moins pr\u00e9sentes, alors m\u00eame qu\u2019elles connaissent des d\u00e9veloppements r\u00e9guliers. Pourtant, depuis plus d\u2019un si\u00e8cle des chercheurs de multiples disciplines contribuent ponctuellement \u00e0 la compr\u00e9hension de ces jeux plus \u00ab\u00a0classiques\u00a0\u00bb. En math\u00e9matiques et sciences \u00e9conomiques, ces travaux ont, par exemple, donn\u00e9 naissance \u00e0 la fameuse th\u00e9orie des jeux (Morgenstern &amp; von Neumann,\u00a01944\u00a0; Nash, 1951). On pense \u00e9galement aux r\u00e9flexions anthropologiques et sociologiques men\u00e9es par Johan Huizinga et Roger Caillois, qui font encore aujourd\u2019hui r\u00e9f\u00e9rence. De m\u00eame, depuis les ann\u00e9es 80, les jeux de r\u00f4les (Ca\u00efra, 2007\u00a0; Bowman, 2010), les <i>wargames<\/i> (von Hilgers, 2008\u00a0; Sabin, 2012) et les jeux de plateaux (Sch\u00e4dler, 2007\u00a0; Hinebaugh, 2009) suscitent des publications fr\u00e9quentes, sans atteindre toutefois la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 des travaux men\u00e9s sur leurs d\u00e9clinaisons num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce cadre, on ne peut ignorer que les travaux se proposant de penser et d\u2019\u00e9tudier les jeux num\u00e9riques font aussi r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement r\u00e9f\u00e9rence aux r\u00e9flexions men\u00e9es sur les jeux \u00ab\u00a0traditionnels\u00a0\u00bb (non-num\u00e9riques), que ce soit afin de construire leur cadre th\u00e9orique (Frasca, 2001\u00a0; Salen &amp; Zimmerman, 2004), ou pour mener des \u00e9tudes comparatives ou contrastives (Tr\u00e9mel, 2001). Ce type d\u2019\u00e9clairage r\u00e9ciproque incite selon nous \u00e0 interroger les singularit\u00e9s ou compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9s des deux domaines, de m\u00eame que l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat th\u00e9orique de les mettre en relation, en confrontation, de les distinguer ou de les assimiler. De la sorte, pour questionner les relations qui s\u2019\u00e9tablissent entre jeux \u00ab\u00a0traditionnels\u00a0\u00bb et jeux num\u00e9riques, cet appel se d\u00e9cline en cinq th\u00e9matiques qui donneront une vision assez large des diff\u00e9rents genres d\u2019articulation envisageables. Tous les types de recherches, fondamentales ou appliqu\u00e9es, et approches disciplinaires sont concern\u00e9s.
